THANKSGIVING SURPRISE

Hello! My Aunt Nicole and Uncle Mitch from my mom's side of the family are here! They came up last night while Elle, Ava and I were sleeping. I never new a thing about their coming so it really surprised me when they came upstairs all casual to surprise us. It was a lot of fun!

A New Favorite Meal

Last night mom made a rice bowl. It was really good! There's rice, black beans, corn, cheese, lime, chicken and cilantro in my bowl.

First Snow

Today we had the first snow. ( Well the one that didn't just melt as it touched the ground.) Ava , Elle, her friend Eden and I have been sledding down the driveway for about a hour and a half now! Here are some pictures:

Happy Birthday Elle!

Today is Elle's 10th birthday. She had meatballs for dinner, went to Wendy's with lunch with dad, and dounuts for breakfast. I got her a scarf and neckalace for her birthday. She also got a new clothes, bubble bath and a board game called Would You Rather. Happy Birthday Elle!

Today I Have Some Random Things

Today I have two very random things to post about! One is I went to the dentist. It was very boring. I brought school to do but I finished it and Elle and Ava went before me so I waited for a hour and a half before I went in to take a check up on my teeth for fifteen minutes. I was glad I didn't have a cavity. Last time I did. At least the have white fillings instead of these grey ones so you can't tell I ever had one!

The second thing is in history I had to figure out how fast I can fold those paper cranes. I can now fold them better! Here's a pic:

I made it fly. Instead of lay it on its side.

Anyways it takes me 5 minutes to fold one crane neatly so heres the stats:

1 crane = 5 minutes

5 cranes = 25 minutes

10 cranes = 50 minutes

20 cranes = 1 hour 40 minutes

50 cranes = 4 hours 10 minutes

100 cranes = 8 hours 20 minutes

1,000 cranes = 83 hours and 20 minutes

Oh today my dad got a kindle fire from amazon. Go to amazon.com to look at one. I really want one! I have always been wanting the ipod but this is way better!



Paper Crane

Today I learned how to make a origami paper crane. It takes a lot of practice to get it good.

School Started

Hello! We have started school this year. We started September 11th, 2011 at 8:30 am to be exact. It has been fun. I like my science class best and history is a lot of fun. I have been fishing a little in my free time. ( My only fish in September was a 3 inch sunfish. But I only spend 3 hours fishing so makes sense.)  I have also been doing a little bit of skateboarding. My friend Zach also is. ( Way more than me!) Here are a few pics.

Butterfly

Yesterday the butterfly we have been keeping hatched! ( Mom has a picture of when they were caterpillars: http://www.minnesotamama.blogspot.com/) I was out on the porch when it flew away. 

This is the video of it flying away. Sorry that you don't see it flying much. I'm new to this video stuff. Trying to get better! :)

My Biggest Fish Ever!!!

Last week I went fishing with my friend Sam. We went out on the Mississippi River and were fishing for Northern Pikes. I had a few leaps for a buzz bait early on. ( Buzz Bait: A lure for fishing that makes a buzzing noise to attract fish on the top of the water.) And finally, after almost 3 hours of fishing I got a Northern on my line. I pulled it to the boat, Sam netted it, and then we measured it and took a few pictures.

      The Pike was 30 inches long and weighed apx. 8 pounds. That was the biggest fish of my life! I was very happy!
